Accessorizing for Lazies: Summer Scarf Edition

Summer = Lazy for me. (As does Fall, Winter, Spring...) But you can easily accessorize a very simple (tank and jeans or jersey dress) outfit by throwing on my favorite accessory. The summer scarf. So what is a summer scarf? It's a thin, almost gauzy scarf that won't make you sweat your a-hole off. Don't throw on the scarf your gammie made you when you were 12 that is a heavy wool blend. Too much. So let's see what's happening with this scarf sitch.

Here is a selection of some of my summer scarves. Light, gauzy, easy. I'm also a fan of pattern mixing. I like to mix stripes with leopard, or ethnic print, or whatever. You won't look THAT crazy; it will be okay.

Here is another easy option. It's an infinity scarf. It's already in the circular shape, and it's made out of jersey. These are so super easy to wear. It's not brain surgery. Just throw it on around your neck, or double it. I also like to wear a long necklace underneath that peeks out from the scarf.

So let's say you just have your basic summer scarf. You have several different options on how to rock this b out. Just let it hang. Or, tie a knot with the ends, and then let it hang. OR knot it, double it, and then let it hang. See? Easy as hanging.
